# SignIQ Brand Guidelines

Lightweight, partner-facing distillation of `agent_docs/brand.md`. If you're publishing SignIQ as a product on your own site, follow these.

## 1. The name

- **SignIQ** — one word, no space, capital S, capital I, capital Q.
- **SignIQ Measure** — full product name. *Measure* is title-case, not all-caps.
- Never "SIGNIQ", "Sign IQ", "Signiq" (lowercase q).

## 2. Logo

| Knock-out logo (dark bg) | On photographs, dark hero panels, opaque dark surfaces. |
| Wordmark only | When space is tight and the icon would render < 24 px. |

**Clear space.** Minimum padding around the logo equals the height of the *I* in SignIQ. Never let other content cross that margin.

**Don't** stretch, rotate, recolour, add drop-shadows, or overlay gradients. Don't apply outlines. Don't reflow into vertical lockup; use the wordmark variant if vertical space is the constraint.

**Files.** Logo assets (SVG primary, PNG @1×/2×/3×, favicon ICO + PNG sizes 16/32/48/96/192/512, Apple touch icon) ship in `/brand/logos/`. SVGs are the source of truth.

## 3. Colour palette

Avoid: black backgrounds anywhere on the web product; coloured backgrounds for primary panels; gradients; glow effects; WebGL. SignIQ is a *light-only* aesthetic — clean enterprise, Anthropic / shadcn inspiration.

## 4. Typography

- **Primary** — Google Sans, loaded via CDN. Falls back to **Inter**, then system sans.
- **Monospace** — JetBrains Mono, for code blocks and tabular data.
- Use weights 400 (body), 500 (UI labels), 600 (headings and stat values). Don't use 700 — too heavy for the aesthetic.

## 5. Component tokens

- **Panel radius** — `rounded-2xl` (16 px). Padding 28 px default.
- **Button radius** — `rounded-[10px]`. **Not** `rounded-full`.
- **No shadows.** Use whitespace and subtle background tints to separate cards.
- **No 1-px borders** unless on tables or explicit dividers. The aesthetic relies on whitespace.

## 6. Voice & tone

- Plain UK English. Hyphens for compounds (`per-node`, `on-device`), em-dashes for parenthetical clauses.
- Direct, concrete, never marketing-fluffy. *"Per-node pricing, on-device processing"* > *"Cutting-edge AI-powered insights"*.
- Don't claim alignment with MRC / IAB and don't use "audit-ready", "compliant", "accredited". Stay descriptive: "calibrated OTS, dwell, attention, with model and calibration version lineage on every record".
- Avoid surveillance vocabulary. Say *"audience measurement"*, *"viewer counting"*, *"presence detection"* — not *"face recognition"*, *"AI surveillance"*, *"demographic profiling"*.

## 7. Partner co-branding

When SignIQ Measure appears as a co-branded product on your site:

- Use the **knock-out wordmark** alongside your primary logo on a single horizontal line.
- Minimum lockup: `[Your logo] · [SignIQ wordmark]` separated by a 1 px divider in `#F2F2F2`.
- Don't combine the SignIQ icon and your icon into a single mark.
- Include a "Powered by SignIQ" line in the footer with a link to `signiq.cloud`.

## 8. Use of customer logos

If you list SignIQ-deployed customers on your site (Lloyds, Krispy Kreme, GANT, Friends Fish & Chip), respect the customer's trademark guidelines and require their written sign-off before publication. If in doubt, ask us.
